COACHING AND PRACTICE
CUGC are very lucky to have Paul Ashwell as our coach as well as the use of extensive practice facilities at Royal Worlington GC, Gog Magog GC, and St. Ives GC. All three golf clubs have large grass driving ranges, putting greens, and short game areas.

Paul has a wealth of coaching experience and has been identified by Golf Monthly as one of the TOP 25 COACHES in the UK. As well as coaching the Cambridge Blues, Paul also coaches England and a number of European and Challenge Tour players.
Individual Blues coaching and group short game coaching usually takes place on Wednesday afternoons.
Blues coaching takes place at St Ives GC. St Ives Golf Club has outstanding practice and coaching facilities. Chosen by Titleist as the home of their National Fitting Centre, the range features a modern contemporary design. Facilities include the Titleist fitting centre, floodlit driving range, Trackman, the latest video technology, multiple putting greens, and an expansive short game area.
